Yard House Kansas City

I’ve loved Yard house ever since I visited my first one in Newport Beach, eating there 3-4 times a week every other week when traveling there for business. You couple the great menu with the hospitality of the servers in Kansas City and you get a one of a kind experience. I personally love the cheese curds, the garlic lobster noodles and really miss the surf and turf burger. After Portland’s location closed, I haven’t eaten at a Yardhouse in years and it was a delight to be able to try again while visiting KC. Logan our server heard of my love for the surf and turf burger, talked to his manager Corey (an OG Yardie he said) and they worked with the sous chef Chris to recreate it. And it was AMAZING!!! To top it all off, they shared a gift certificate with us and we ate there again the following night! Thank you guys!

Enjoyed dinner at Yard House after a conference. Our group was seated quickly on a Tuesday night, the server was attentive, and the food was excellent. Brussel sprouts appetizer was crispy with the right amount of kick. For entrees we had the Thai Pork Chop, which I’ll be thinking about for weeks, cheese pizza, and wings. Yard House knocked it out of the park for a great price.

The ambiance of the restaurant was truly impressive, creating a welcoming and upscale atmosphere. Our server was attentive and provided excellent recommendations from the extensive menu. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with fresh, delicious flavors. From appetizers to desserts, every course was a culinary delight. We highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable dining experience. Manager very helpful.

The food is totally worth a trip to the Yard House. I had the pleasure of going to KC for 2 separate trips and found myself eating at the restaurant on multiple nights. The wait staff was on top of the orders, and even on busy nights, there were drinks and beers promptly. I have to admit Emma was the best waitress if you happen to get her section, but all the staff was great.

Excellent food! Extensive draft beer line up. A variety of items on the menu from salads, burgers, tacos to steak and salmon. I had the 20 ribeye with broccoli and mashed potatoes. It was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! My daughter had the salmon and Loves her dish as well. I am not from KC and highly recommend dining here. We will definitely return next month when we visit again!

We had a fantastic experience at Yard House in the Power & Light District! The atmosphere is vibrant and modern, and even with the huge bar area, it’s still very kid-friendly — a pleasant surprise for a family night out. We tried Miguel’s Queso Dip to start and it was absolutely delicious — creamy, flavorful, and a must-have appetizer. The Shiitake Garlic Noodles were packed with umami and cooked to perfection, and the Bleu Cheese & Bacon burger was rich, juicy, and full of flavor. The barbecue wings were also great, crispy and the sauce had a great flavor and paired really well with the ranch We ended the meal with the Bread Pudding with Creme Anglaise, and wow — it was the perfect sweet finish! Great service, great vibes, and highly recommended whether you’re with kids, friends, or on a date night. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a good experience here. I ordered the fish tacos and asked the server which of the 2 options she recommended, she stated most people order the shrimp but employees would tell you to do the white fish. Then she let me know I could order one of each. They were both delicious.
